More to come - PROMISE!!!

Hi - just wanted to let ya'll know that I'm still alive and I have a lot more to blog about. I'm setting a goal to be all caught up by the end of January - I know I can do it! Anyway - enjoy my new Thankgsiving Post! I need to do Halloween Gary Allan Concert, Christmas and UFC Fight/Vegas trip. Oh yeah - and I bought a new car - so lots more to come...stay tuned!! :)

Thanksgiving/Bear Lake

This year I was lucky enough to be invited to Ryan's Thanksgiving tradition of going to Bear Lake and staying in a condo with his family. We left on Thanksgiving Eve (the night before of course, haha) and stayed until Saturday. We had a lot of fun and the food was delicious. We also got to relax a bit was even better!

You can always get her to smile for pictures! She also had her favorite shirt on that you can barely get off of her to wash it! She loves that TSO.

This is how you will usually find Janessa - looking at her pics! She loves pics and can be entertained by them for hours. These too pics are classic Janessa looks while she's looking that the pics - always slight grin.

Ry's little brother - Caiden. He was trying to show us the new monopoly money from the new game along with begging us to play it with him.

Ry and I finally gave in but decided SpongeBob Operation sounded like more fun and not as long of a game to commit to, haha! :)

This game did require just as much concentration as monopoly would have I think! :)

After a day/night of games, movies and lots of food - we made it back to our condo to hang out by ourselves for a bit! This was a very fun Thanksgiving and I was glad Ryan invited me up for it.

My 25th Birthday!!!

So, I turned the big 25 this year, which was pretty depressing at first - but I got over it pretty quick! lol ;) I will admit that it did help a little to have the best boyfriend ever!!! He is amazing and made this birthday one of the best EVER!!! :)

It started out by him calling me early to wish me a Happy Birthday so he could be the first! Then later that day a surprise showed up at my work - I couldn't believe it but he sent FLOWERS! They were the most beautiful and best smelling flowers I've ever seen! The arrangement was awesome - it even had a live pumpkin vine with 4 small pumpkins on it. He told them my favorite colors of orange and pink - then the florist did the rest! :) Below are a few different angles so you can see how cool the arrangement was, even though these pictures don't do justice!

I've never seen a dark purple star gazing lily like the one below - it was gorgeous!

But I absolutly loved the orange star gazing lily below!

Some of the others bloomed later but I didn't get pictures of them! :(



The best part about this surprise is the funny little story I have to share along with it. I can't remember what we were watching on TV but it had something to do with some guy giving his gf flowers. Well, Ryan starts saying how he thinks sending flowers is kinda dumb and a waste of money! Mind you - this is just days before my birthday. We have a little discussion on it and I didn't think any more of it. Then BAM - on my birthday I get flowers from him. I called to thank him and he started laughing asking if his comment the other day threw me off. I admitted that I wasn't really expecting flowers and that might have helped me to think he wouldn't send me any. Well, I guess he had been planning it for awhile because he discretely asked for my work address about a month before all of this and he was good at making up an excuse that there was an address written down on a piece of paper in my writing and he was wondering if he needed to keep it. I guess I was just pretty much oblivious! lol Oh well, it made it all better that way! :)

Then, later when I got home from grabbing us some dinner (we were tending his little brother and sister while his parents were out of town, so we couldn't go out) I come down the stairs to find all of them around the below table and they start singing Happy Birthday to me. He even had candles on the cake - a 2 and a 4 then a normal candle - that's all he had and it worked out perfect! lol :)

After all that excitement he hands me my birthday card which was signed by all of them -Janessa, Caiden and Ryan - it was cute! The card was one that made noise when you open it so when I did it was loud and it kind of made me jump. Well out falls 2 tickets - I lean down to pick them up and they are 2 tickets to Gary Alan!!! :) Someone we had been talking about trying to get tickets too! Of course though - he did trick me again because for a couple of weeks since they went on sell - he was telling me that they were sold out, so we were watching KSL. He would send me links to KSL every couple of days - once again it was just a ploy to throw me off and it worked!!! I was so surprised!!!

I have to say it again though - this was seriously the best birthday, thanks to Ryan!!! He is so awesome and I'm grateful for all he does, he treats me so great! :)

Oh and the night before my birthday - my parents took Ryan and me out to Asian Star - it was soooo yummy!!! Thanks Mom and Dad, that made my birthday great too along with your other gift that may be mentioned later....lol! :)

Ryan's Birthday Weekend!

For Ryan's birthday we (a couple friends of his and us) decided to take a trip out to a place called Knolls which is out towards Wendover. It has some good 4 wheeling trails. It was a blast. I didn't get any pics of us 4 wheeling cause I thought I forgot my camera, but then found it! :) Anyway, we also decided to spend a couple of nights in Wendover since we were so close....plus they had a few concerts that were cheap.

Then after dinner we headed to the best concert of the weekend - Clint Black!
He was awesome and it was a whole lot of fun!

way fun and entertaining! :)

But the night ended soon and it was the end of Ryan's birthday weekend celebration!
But we all had a blast so that was fun! :)

Wyoming Downs

Since I'm getting grief for not posting - here you go..lol. I don't have too much going on that includes pictures - so this is the most recent event. Saturday morning Ryan (the guy I'm currently dating) decided that a trip to the Downs would be fun for a couple of hours! So, we loaded up and went...it was a blast! It was me, Ryan and his friend Mckay. Here are some pics...but please note, I was a little lame and didn't get any of the actually race?! Yeah...I didn't realize that until we left! DUH! Anyway - enjoy!
